Schema markup generator tool by Marco Ilardi

You search for your brand and no Knowledge Panel appears. This is the normal situation for most brands, and it does not mean something is broken. A panel exists only when Google has recognized your brand as a distinct entity and trusts the information it has about it. These are the most common reasons why that has not happened yet.

The common causes

What you can do

  1. Choose the page that will be the home of your entity, usually the home page or the About page.
  2. Create an Organization schema or a Person schema with the free generators on this site, and list your official profiles in sameAs.
  3. Align your name, description and logo across the website, social profiles and business listings.
  4. Earn coverage on reliable sites, such as interviews, industry directories or press mentions.
  5. Run the brand reputation checker to see which signals are still missing.

A note on tools and expectations

Tools that query the Knowledge Graph, such as Google’s Knowledge Graph Search API, only return entities that are already in the graph. If your brand does not appear there, the panel is not being hidden: the entity has not been created yet. Google does not publish the rules for creating panels, so there is no fixed deadline. Consistent work on your entity signals is the only reliable path, and the guide to earning a Google Knowledge Panel explains it in more detail.
