Last updated: 7 November 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how schemamarkup.tools (the “Site”) processes personal data of people who visit the Site, create an account or use the schema markup generators.
Data controller
The data controller is Micropedia, an Italian software house, represented by Marco Ilardi. Requests about personal data and privacy can be sent to info@micropedia.it. We do not use this address for general support or marketing contact.
Data we collect
- Account data: the name, email address and password you provide when you register to use the generators.
- Content you enter: the information you type into the schema forms, such as names, URLs, descriptions and social profile links, so that we can generate and store your JSON-LD.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages requested, collected through server logs and cookies.
Why we process your data
We process account data and the content you enter to provide the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We use technical data to keep the Site secure, based on our legitimate interest. We do not use web analytics tools on the Site.
Advertising and third parties
The Site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising at Google’s Ads Settings page and withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie banner. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep account data and saved schemas for as long as your account is active and delete them when you ask us to close it. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security purposes.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability and object to processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
